Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., questioned Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University law professor on Dec. 4. He also questioned whether three other legal experts, who testified at the request of Democrats, had preconceived notions about whether President Donald Trump should be impeached. The questioning came on the first day of public hearings by the House Judiciary Committee as part of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. The focus of the Judiciary hearing, which came after the House Intelligence Committee had hearings in late November, is to define the grounds of a presidential impeachment.
